Branding Masterclass
Screen Printing
This is the most common printing technique for the printing of writing instruments. The ink is transferred through a screen on to the writing instrument, obtaining precise and sharp detail in unlimited colour shades. Ideal for printing on round, plastic pens.
Tampo (Pad) Printing
This indirect printing process is used for printing very large areas and curved surfaces. In this process, the print image is etched into a stamp, which is then filled with ink. The pad picks up the ink and applies it to the writing instrument. Ideal for printing on curved clips.
Laser Engraving
A method of engraving logos, graphics and typefaces into the surface of writing instruments using a laser beam. This is burnt into the surface providing a durable and high precision imprint. Ideal for metal writing instruments.
Metal Printing
This utilises a similar technique to silkscreen printing with special ink application to guarantee permanence of branding. Special printing colours are used for the print on writing instruments. Ideal for metal writing instruments.
Photo Printing
This is a way of printing authentic photo reproductions on writing instruments using the silkscreen or tampo printing methods. Available as a wrap around print, it accurately reproduces realistic images with incredible results. For use only on white barrels to ensure perfect picture quality.
Logo Printing
This method encases a logo in a clear plastic relief shell, which is then glued on to the writing instrument using a special adhesive to create high visibility branding. Ideal for giving the branding an amazing 3-D effect.
